A powerful first-cut media, ceramic is an ideal initial step for rough finishing and for generalized surface refinement on castings or harder metals. This tri-star shape aluminum oxide abrasive cuts aggressively for rough-surface finishing and production castings, preparing surfaces for plastic media. Heavy cut reflects particle size and quantity of the abrasive; 90 lb./cu. ft weight provides a more aggressive cut.
